What a listing may show
A consented listing may contain the actual studio name, location, services, authorised portfolio, public contact details and official website. The source and last review of those details should be clear.
Questions to ask the studio
Ask the responsible operator about qualified staff, working arrangements, hygiene procedures, equipment handling, sharps and waste arrangements, consent and aftercare information. This is general awareness, not a complete protocol or inspection checklist.
Listing and safety are different
TAI does not certify studios, inspect premises or guarantee sterility, infection prevention, clinical compliance, product quality or individual suitability. No accreditation serial, inspection checker or certificate-verification portal operates here.
Before publishing
Actual identity/contact checks and publication review need defined criteria, evidence, consent and a review date. A future profile-check badge must state its limited scope and must not imply professional certification or safety approval.
Clear responsibilities
Tattoo Artists of India supports artist discovery; Tattoo Studios of India supports studio discovery. ITAA provides professional association context, IBTA education and IBTE examinations/assessments. Each has its own operator and terms.
