COMMON QUESTIONS
THE ARTIST / THE WORK / THE CONTEXTRead the distinction.
Ask the next question.
Start with the scope of the directory and the role of its private planning tools.
01Is the artist index live with public profiles?
No approved public artist profiles are supplied yet. The viewing routes, editorial photographs and reading notes provide context without inventing artists, ratings or verification badges. Actual publication requires authorised identity and portfolio information.
02How is this different from a studio directory?
This directory centres the individual artist and their contribution. A studio directory represents a business and space. A current studio relationship can be relevant context, but a shared gallery or place name should not replace the person who made the work.
03Do visual-language categories assess artists?
No. They are editorial viewing prompts and search categories, not technical definitions, rankings, suitability assessments or recognised qualification labels. Identify a specific portfolio example and bring your actual question to its creator.
04Does a city label establish where I can meet an artist?
No. Location is a starting point for enquiry. Confirm the artist’s current relationship, actual contact and the relevant place and timing directly. Old posts, guest appearances and studio tags do not automatically establish a current arrangement.
05Does the enquiry-note tool send or book anything?
No. It collects your own planning reference, observation and question into a private review with an optional local download. It creates no account, appointment or automatic contact with an artist. It does not establish the identity entered as a verified person.
06Does an artist proposal publish or verify a profile?
No. It prepares a private text review and offers explicit download or email-draft actions. Actual review, consent, supported claims, publication, correction and removal processes must be established by the operator before live profiles.
07What does a public portfolio prove?
A portfolio can show work in a stated context, but should be read with authorship, permissions and presentation attached. It does not independently establish licensing, competence, suitability, availability or an accepted commission. Ask the responsible person for actual details.
08What information should I avoid sharing?
Do not include identity documents, medical information, private client records or sensitive images in general forms. Use authorised public links and obtain appropriate permission for personal identity, portfolio work and people shown.
